Recommended Listen from Don Watkins:

“The Fine Line podcast tells real stories from Teton County Search and Rescue of adventure, risk and rescue in the backcountry of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. This episodes details the complicated rescue of an experienced backcountry skier, and friend of mine, who was caught in an avalanche just north of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort ski area boundary. This one hits close to home not only because he’s a friend, but he’s an expert skier and has extensive knowledge of the backcountry. It’s a harsh reminder of how a place like the mountains can bring you so much joy and elation and yet be so unforgiving.”

Note: Don joined Teton County Search & Rescue in 2015 and continues to be an active volunteer serving the greater Jackson Hole area.
